With Facebook Insights modules in Boost.space Integrator, you can retrieve insights, create jobs, and retrieve job statuses and results.
To get started with Facebook Insights, you must have a Facebook account and an Ad account in your Facebook Business Manager.
Refer to the Facebook Insights API documentation for a list of available endpoints.
You can find out how to create your own connection in the guide below. This guide is for Lead Ads, but the setup works the same way for this application.
Ensure that you create a connection with the same profile you are logged into on Facebook. If you are making a connection with another account, it won’t work for you and you will see this error:
To establish the connection:
- Log in to your Boost.space Integrator account, add a Facebook Insights module to your scenario, and click Create a connection.
- Optional: In the Connection name field, enter a name for the connection.
- Optional: Click Show advanced settings and enter your custom app client credentials. You must have a Facebook developer account to create these credentials. For more information, refer to the Facebook API documentation.
- Click Save.
- If prompted, authenticate your account and confirm access.
You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your scenario and add more Facebook Insights modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps here.
