Organisational containers that scope all records in the system. Every entity (Contact, Todo, Business Case, Invoice, etc.) belongs to exactly one Space.

Hierarchy: Spaces can be nested via parent_node_id. Child spaces inherit role assignments from their parent unless explicitly overridden by setting their own users map.

Roles: Owner → Manager → Member. The creator of a space is always assigned as Owner. For spaces without a parent, the users map must be provided on creation (or the creator is auto-set as sole Owner).

Module type: The module field specifies the type of space (e.g. contact, todo, business-case, custom module). Menu-type spaces are navigation containers and require administration permission to create.

File attachments: Spaces support cover images and attachments via /space/{id}/file.
